Overview

Feel like a Venetian! Meet our city guide near Rialto Bridge starting with an espresso coffee at one local “torrefazione” (coffee roasting bar). Then we take a stroll at the fresh food market and will meet with our Venetian lady to buy the fish and food for our lunch together. This is a great place where to mix with the locals and get the best fresh fish and veg of the day. It has been there for almost 800 years ! We than cross the Grand Canal by a short gondola ferry to the Cannaregio district. Passing many places of interest such as the Jewish Ghetto and find out hidden stories of the city. It is now time for Italians to go home for lunch. We make our way to meet our Venetian lady at her house. Starting with prosecco Wine & Cicchetti (Venetian appetizers). Having a chat, some laugh, and try to speak some Italian! Enjoy pasta or risotto, cooked at home with our fresh buy ending with moka-machine coffee like with sweets or a dessert & local liqueur.
