Raja & the Whales was the first local family who started whale watching in Sri Lanka (back in 2008). We adhere to international whale watching regulations and provide valuable research data to various international marine wildlife research and conservation organisations. As a result we have a deep and profound knowledge of the ocean and its inhabitants. There is a 90-95% chance to see the whales during our trips. In case we could not find any whales on the day of your trip, we will either refund 17 USD per adult and 8 USD per kid or you can come another day for free. Please note that our trips take around 5 hours in average but that the actual trip time can vary between 2 and 8 hours.
