Overview

    Just some 30 minutes out from Bergen you can find the White-Tailed Eagle "George" and a handful of his closest friends. They soar on huge predator wings over the small islands, as their eyes constantly scan the water surface to see if Norwegian coastal Sushi is on the menu.

    Come along to possibly see one of the largest birds of prey as we travel close to their nesting grounds. Be ready and have your camera available as this action bird comes and disappears in a matter of seconds.

    All the bird photographs in this presentation are taken by AMATEURS to show you that it is doable also for you. A proper camera is used but modern smartphones have the capability of getting images that are almost as sharp when the birds come up close.

    Disclaimer: The Eagle is a wild bird. Like with Northern lights we can issue no guarantee that you will see one. However, the guides are highly skilled and have a very high "Eagle percentage" as the Eagles are regularly fed and know the boat that bring food
