Oshikango is a village in northern Namibia and a border post with Angola. Since 2004 it has been part of the town of Helao Nafidi but still maintains its own village council. It is the district capital of the Oshikango Constituency. Oshikango is estimated to have grown from "a tiny cluster of shebeens around an open market into a thriving boomtown with around 5,000 to 8,000 inhabitants over a period of 10 years".
Oshikango in Ohangwena with it's 2,658 habitants is located in Namibia about 365 mi (or 587 km) north of Windhoek, the country's capital town.While being here, you might want to pay a visit to some of the following locations: Ondjiva, Oshakati, Eenhana, Outapi and Omuthiya.
