The Hofu Tenmangu Shrine Museum displays a selection from some six hundred items that were presented to the shrine as votive offerings.

As one of Japan’s most important feudal families for many centuries, the Mohri clan accumulated many treasures. The Mohri Museum has a collection of some 20,000 items, which are displayed in a series of rotating exhibitions throughout the year.

Suo Kokubunji is unique in that it still stands in its original precincts (though the temple compound is now slightly shorter on its east-west axis) and with many of its key buildings still in their original locations.
