This full-day tour will bring you to two fascinating locations in Bogotá's savannah: Zipaquirá's Salt Cathedral and Guatavita Lagoon. At the Salt Cathedral, you will be able to see how Catholic symbology and contemporary engineering were combined in this gigantic temple as well as learn about the creative process of its sculptures. Next, you will pass through the colonial village of Zipaquirá before heading to Guatavita. This mystical place is a sacred site for the Muiscas people; here you can learn about El Dorado myth and Muisca cosmology while admiring Páramo ecosystem. After lunch, a countryside road will take you back to Bogotá where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or any other point of your convenience.
