Serving the Spanish Island of Fuerteventura the airport of the same name is just 3.1 miles of the capital on the island. The airport is rather modern because it was only built in the 1960s. The airport handles over 4.1 million passengers a year, with 30 aircraft operators.
Getting around an island with a car is easy, but getting around an island on public transport is tough, which is why hiring a car on the island is recommended.
