The Seychelles are a group of islands that are situated in the Indian Ocean. There are over 100 islands in total, though only 83 have a name associated with them, whilst 46 of these are completely deserted. The official languages are English and French and both are spoken all over the islands. Although Catholicism is widespread in the Seychelles, there is also a strong faith in the supernatural and many people believe in the spiritual magic recognized by the name of gris.
Mahe, Fregate and Praslin are the three main parts of the Seychelles.
