Rio de Jainero airport has its original name as Galeão International Airport, is the main airport serving Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is the country's second-busiest international airport. This airport was named after Praia do Galeao which is a beach located right in front of the original passenger terminal. In terms of land area in Brazil, the Rio de Janeiro airport tops the list and is regarded as the largest.

TERMINALS:

This airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

TERMINAL 1: This terminal has the shape of a semi circle with four floors. It handles both domestic and international flights. At the floor 1 of Terminal 1 you’ll find the Departures and check-in area, from doors A to E. You’ll find the International Departures in doors B and C.
