Main Festival
Being one of the oldest festivals in Frankfurt, in the Middle Ages local people celebrated the Main river with a rich feast, parades and wine. Along the years the ancient parade has grown into an annual festival which is being held on the beginning of August. The Main Festival is the perfect family program, as it included fair trades, concerts and fireworks.

Bernemer Festival
Has been celebrated for more than 400 years, the Bernemer festival is one of the main events in Frankfurt. Held in the beginning of August, the festival offers a rich program where visitors can take a look into the history of the German traditional folk music and dance, can taste the traditional cuisine and popular tradtions.

Food-Apple-Wine Festival / Apfelwein-Festival
Frankfurt is famous for its apple wine culture. To honor the city's most beloved beverage, an apple wine festival is being held annually in every August. Rheingau Wine Festival
Held from 1978, the Rheingau Wine Festival is a key meeting point for winemakers to present and promote their wines to the audience. The wine festival is around wines from the Rheingau region as, it is the city's closest closest holiday destination. Tourists can taste from more than 600 of red, white and sparkling wines accompanied with local cuisine.

Autumn Dippemess
The Dippemess dates back to the 14thcentury when it was called 'Maamess'and it is a traditional fair, where sellers are presenting, promote and furnish their ceramic products which are mainly bowls and pots. The Dippemess attracts a high number of visitors each year as among the market, a fairground is displayed with carousells, roller coasters which presents a frequented place for children during the festival.
